ARLINGTON, TX — June 8, 2025 — The Minnesota Lynx continued their early-season surge with a commanding 83-67 victory over the Dallas Wings at College Park Center. Minnesota’s aggressive defense and balanced scoring attack proved too much for a depleted Wings roster missing several starters due to injuries.

From the opening tip, the Lynx controlled the pace, led by Napheesa Collier, who tallied 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Her leadership on both ends of the court set the tone for Minnesota, who forced 19 turnovers and held Dallas to just 38% shooting from the field. The Wings, already missing Satou Sabally and Arike Ogunbowale, struggled to find offensive rhythm throughout the night.

Rookie forward Alissa Pili added a season-high 14 points off the bench for the Lynx, providing a much-needed spark during a second-quarter run that put Minnesota ahead for good. The team’s depth and defensive intensity have become trademarks during their recent winning streak, now extended to four games.

For Dallas, Maddy Siegrist was a lone bright spot, finishing with 18 points and 6 rebounds. However, the Wings’ lack of ball movement and bench production left them unable to mount a comeback. The loss drops them further behind in the Western Conference standings, raising questions about their depth and playoff viability.

Minnesota will look to carry their momentum into their next matchup against the Las Vegas Aces, while Dallas hopes to regroup before facing the Chicago Sky on the road.
