Indiana brought the fire to Bloomington on February 6, overwhelming Rutgers 81–60 in a game that featured one of the hottest shooting nights in program history. The Hoosiers buried 15 three-pointers—just one shy of their all-time record—and four players scored in double digits, putting on a clinic in offensive efficiency and defensive lockdowns.

Sydney Parrish led the way with 22 points, knocking down 4-of-7 from long range and matching her season high. She was joined by Shay Ciezki, who added 16 points and a season-best seven assists, while Yarden Garzon and Chloe Moore-McNeil chipped in 14 and 12 respectively. All four hit at least three triples, part of a 53.6% team effort from beyond the arc.

The game broke wide open in the third quarter, when Indiana hit 10 of their 15 threes and turned a comfortable lead into a blowout. By the time the fourth quarter started, the Hoosiers had built a 28-point advantage, with their depth and tempo proving too much for the visiting Scarlet Knights.

Defensively, Indiana suffocated Rutgers, holding them to just 38.6% shooting overall and a meager 15.4% from deep. Rutgers’ Destiny Adams provided a bright spot, scoring 24 points and fighting to keep her team afloat, but Indiana’s relentless perimeter attack kept the game out of reach.

Freshman Kiyomi McMiller added 14 points for Rutgers, but the Scarlet Knights struggled to find a rhythm, often settling for contested shots and failing to generate consistent stops on the other end. Indiana, meanwhile, shared the ball, hunted open looks, and dictated pace from tip to buzzer.

The win improves Indiana to 15–7 overall and 7–4 in Big Ten play, pushing their win streak to three games—all by 15 points or more. Rutgers falls to 8–16 and 2–9 in conference, still searching for answers in a rebuilding season.

Next up, Indiana travels to Minnesota for a February 9 matchup as they aim to keep climbing the Big Ten ladder. If this shooting form holds, they’ll be a dangerous out come tournament time.
